I am a Civil Engineer with a master's degree in Coasts and Ports by the University of Cantabria (Spain). My research experience started at GeoOcean Engineering Group in 2018, being involved in a wide range of coastal projects such as nearshore modeling and statistical characterization of multimodal wave systems. In 2020, I joined a PhD programme in Civil Engineering with a Concepción Arenal scholarship. The research, entitled “Methodology for a coastal flooding risk assessment in Pacific Atolls”, is motivated by the sea-swells systems interaction and their influence in processes such as coastal flooding or traditional navigation systems.
