Beatriz Pérez
Biography
I studied my degree in Civil Engineering (2009) and my MsC in Coast and Port Engineering (2012) at the University of Cantabria (Spain). Then, I completed my PhD at the same University (2017) focused on the numerical characterization of nonconfined saline density currents. Over these years, I have also been involved in several studies related to 3D hydrodynamics, operational oceanography, sediment transport, water quality, and oil spill risk assessment, combining computational models with laboratory experiments and field campaigns.
