Manuel Zornoza

Biography

I have a degree in Civil Engineering and a MsC in Coast and Port Engineering, both from University of Cantabria (Spain). During my degree studies, I spent a year at Università degli studi Roma Tre. My MsC thesis was a study of coastal flooding risk in a small Pacific island. I am currently a PhD student granted with a predoctoral scholarship by the Science and Innovation Ministry (Government of Spain). My research relates to coastal variability, coastal risks, and the development of an early warning system for coastal inundation.
