Description: In this project we have carried out an analysis of the likelihood of occurrence and the consequences of TC events for coastal planning and resilience, by means of a preliminary assessment of TC-induced coastal flooding in Fiji considering waves and water level components:

• Estimation of extreme value distribution as a proxy of total water level (TWL) on the coast of Fiji.
• Climate change projections of TWL.
• Sensitivity analysis of the influence of tropical cyclones as well as El Niño Southern Oscillation variability.
